Motion to Convene the Southern National Congress.
Consideration of a Motion to Adopt By-Laws.

8:30 PM -- Until: Delegates’ Reception and Social, Kanuga Inn Fireplace Lounge.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6
8:00 -- 8:45 AM: Breakfast, family-style, Kanuga Inn Dining Hall.
8:45 AM: Delegates assemble at the call of the pipes; Kanuga Inn.
9:00 AM: Delegates’ Procession; piped to Balthis Hall for Second Plenary Session.
9:15 AM – 12:15 PM: Second Plenary.
Opening Prayer.
Election of Permanent Officers.*
Consideration of a Motion to Admit the State of Maryland.
Consideration of Remonstrances and Petitions for Redress of Grievances.
Consideration of Floor Resolutions.
12:30 -- 1:30 PM: Dinner, family-style, Kanuga Inn Dining Hall.
1:30 – 5:00 PM: Continue Second Plenary and business deemed in order.
5:00 – 6:00 PM: Personal Time.
6:00 – 7:00 PM: Supper.
7:30 PM – Until: Two Options, depending on progress made during Second Plenary and subject to an approved motion by the Congress:
continue deliberations of business in order in Second Plenary until passage of a motion to adjourn; OR
Informal Social, Fireplace Lounge (alcohol permitted in moderation; bring your own).
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7
8:00 - 8:45 AM: Breakfast, Kanuga Inn Dining Hall.
8:45 - 9:15 AM: Pack and clear rooms. (NOTE: Kanuga requires all guests to vacate rooms by 10:00 AM).
9:15 -10:15 AM: Optional Worship, Chapel of the Transfiguration.
10:15 AM - 12:15 PM: Third Plenary and Closing Session; Motion to Adjourn sine die; and Benediction.
12:15 PM: Dinner.
1:00 PM: Farewells and return home.
